Living by Faith

 

 

Living by faith, we are secure
And have no need to fear,
For we know our loving Shepherd
Is always very near.
He walks beside us every day,
Guiding each step we trod;
Living by faith, we walk by faith…
Faith of the Son of God.

Living by faith, we walk in Truth
And need not be deceived,
God’s law was written in our hearts
The moment we received.
Let us praise Him forevermore,
A new life He gave us;
Living by faith, we walk worthy…
Of the One who saved us.

Living by faith, we walk in love
Toward our God and mankind,
Bearing the fruit of the Spirit,
Leaving all hate behind.
Humbly walking by faith, not sight,
Justified and set free,
Our spiritual eyes are opened…
Living by Faith, we see.

 

“Therein is the righteousness of God revealed
from faith to faith: as it is written,
The just shall live by faith.”
(Rom 1:17)
