Taken Away!

 

 

Christian, do we really realize
Just what our God has done?
He has taken all our sins away...
And laid them on His Son.
Removed as far as east is from west,
They’re remembered no more!
Hallelujah! All things are made new...
Nothing is as before.
Our sins are Taken Away!

New creatures in the Lord Jesus Christ,
Forgiven and cleansed within,
We stand pure and righteous before God…
Free from dominion of sin.
Thanks to the precious blood of Jesus,
Shed on that Old Rugged Cross,
We are now anchored in our Savior…
No longer tempest tossed.
Our sins are Taken Away!

Delivered from the state of darkness,
We’re free to walk God’s way;
Satan may tempt, but we now have strength
To resist and not stray.
Oh, let us worship and praise our God,
Thank Him for all He’s done…
He loves you and me so very much,
He sacrificed His Son…
Our sins are Taken Away!
