The Lord God Sees All

 

 

When we’re born into God’s Kingdom,
This truth we need to know…
There’s no deed that goes unnoticed,
God sees all things below.

He knows our mind—our every thought,
Our actions—what was meant,
And we can never fool Him, friend,
He knows the heart’s intent.

His all-seeing eye is right there
When we fall into sin…
And He is grieved beyond measure
When at church we pretend.

Yes, our mighty God sees it all—
All without and within…
He knows when we earnestly serve,
Seeking the lost to win.

And each cup of water given
In the name of our Lord…
Brings joy to our loving Shepherd
And reaps lasting reward.

Oh, let us be transparent, friend,
Always honest and true—
True to God, others, and ourselves
In everything we do…
The Lord God Sees All.
