Mountain Moving Faith

 

 

Lord God, You tell us of a faith
That can even move a mountain,
And we believe Your every Word,
For we’re drinking from Your fountain.
We are facing troublesome days
And we must depend upon You,
For it is only by Your grace
That we will ever make it through.

Lord, You are the mountain mover,
Speak the Word and they’ll all be gone;
But in the midst of troubled times,
Teach us to sing a joyful song.
And should nothing change in our time,
Just be with us and hold our hand;
Give us Your mountain climbing strength…
As You work out Your perfect plan.

One day those mountains shall all move,
Forever cast into the sea;
But only in your timing, Lord,
Will all trouble and sorrow flee.
Your Word is forever settled,
And what we ask, we shall receive,
Lord, give us Mountain Moving Faith…
Help us as we pray to believe.

 

 Jesus said: “If ye shall say unto this mountain,
Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea: it shall be done.
And all things whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing,
ye shall receive.”
(Matt 21:21-22)
