Rivers of Living Water

 

 

When our Shepherd we come to know,
Rivers of living water flow…
Calming the anxious soul;

And as we walk in pastures green,
A glowing reflection is seen…
By folks outside the fold.

God’s abiding presence within
Stirs our hearts His message to send…
So many do not know;

Christ Jesus saves from Satan’s realm,
Call all men to believe on Him…
Oh, let those rivers flow!

 

 Jesus said: “He that believeth on me,
as the scripture hath said,
out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”
(Jn 7:38)
