Faith That Overcomes

 

 

Redeemed by the blood of Jesus,
Born of God by His grace,
We have a faith that overcomes
All obstacles we face.
The victory is ours to enjoy
Through all eternity,
And it begins right here and now…
When our God sets us free.

We read of men so long ago
Who, by faith, overcame
And accomplished many great works
In our Lord’s precious Name.
The faith of those men way back then
Still plays an active part,
And the same Lord who was with them…
Now lives within our heart.

It’s faith in Christ that overcomes,
He is our victory,
And He is all we’ll ever need
To live life joyfully.
May the sweet fruit of His Spirit
Shine forth for all to see
Genuine Faith That Overcomes…
Living in you and me.
