The Light of the World!

 

 

Our world is in a dark fallen state
And all are affected;
But, praise be to God, there is a Light…
Glory is reflected.

Christ came to give life and light to all
Who submit and believe;
His glorious life lights every heart
That will bow and receive.

Yes, He’s our Light and our salvation,
And when we come to Him,
The new abundant life imparted…
Replaces darkness grim.

Every void and emptiness is filled,
As Christ in us resides—
In Him we move and have our being…
Forever to abide.

May souls, families, churches, nations,
Turn their eyes upon Him…
And be lifted from degradation
To that Glorious realm…
Abiding in Him…The Light of the World!

 

 “In him we live, and move, and have our being”

he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness,
but shall have the light of life.”
