The Fountain of Life

 

 

There’s a fountain of living water
That flows from Calv’ry’s tree…
A healing stream reaching deep and wide
To cleanse and set us free.
Every time I come to this fountain
My cup doth overflow…
My spirit thrives upon its water…
No other fount I know.

Only Jesus, the Fountain of Life,
Can satisfy the soul…
Only He can quench a thirsty heart
And make a sinner whole.
If worldly fountains have left you dry
And thirsting deep inside…
Come; partake of The Fountain of Life…
You shall be satisfied.

 

 

 

 “They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house;
and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
For with thee is the fountain of life”
(Ps. 36:8-9)
