Much Better Than Gold!

 

 

Much better than the finest gold,
Or a sparkling precious stone,
Are those great blessings that unfold…
When new life in Christ is known.
The glitter of gold vanishes,
And the sparkling stone grows dim,
But a soul, alive in Jesus,
Finds lasting riches in Him…
Much Better Than Gold!

Nothing can compare with God’s peace,
Or the joy that fills the heart,
When a lost soul surrenders all…
And is given a new start.
Forgiven and born anew in Christ,
We find eternal treasure,
For the Great Shepherd of the soul
Gives wealth beyond all measure…
Much Better Than Gold!
