Follow Him

 

 

Follow God’s call to Calvary…
Bow at the foot of the cross,
Surrender all and be set free…
Never again to be lost.
Follow Christ’s lead and be baptized,
A symbol of what took place,
Rise to walk in newness of life…
Rejoice in amazing grace!

Follow Christ on the mountaintop…
When all is sunny and bright,
Follow Him in the valley grim…
When you see no sign of light.
With His rod and staff He leadeth
All who hear His gentle call…
Follow Him each step of the way
And you will never fall.

Follow close when tempted and tried…
Cling to Him with all your might,
And when you cannot see ahead…
Walk by faith and not by sight.
Follow Christ every day you live,
Love Him with all of your heart,
Give Him praise; glorify His Name…
Oh, what joy He doth impart!
Follow Him…

 

Jesus said: “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself,
and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life
shall lose it; but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.”
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
(Lu 9:23-24, 27)
